Aishwarya Rai was quite eye-catching on Tuesday, dressed in light blue denims, a brown leather jacket and brown embroidered cowboy-style boots.

On Tuesday, October 26, Ash and director JP Dutta met winners of a Reliance Mobile Umrao Jaan contest and distributed prizes to them.

The event was held in Mumbai, however Ash was able to also interacted with winners from other locations via a Video Conference link.

The prizewinner from the Vashi branch cheekily asked Ash out on a date; he invited her to lunch. As this unfolded under the ever watchful gaze of the media, an embarrassed Ash was momentarily caught off-guard. Blushing, she thanked him for the invitation, and then quickily moved on to other questions.

Ash explained that schedualing was behind why Abhishek Bachchan has not been present for any of the Umrao Jaan promotions, saying, "Its just schedules, but we are trying to get him once before the release. Let's hope it happens soon."

1 November will see the blue-eyed beauty celebrate her 33rd birthday. Right before the much awaited November 3 release of Umrao Jaan.

When asked how she plans to celebrate her birthday, Ash said she has no plans for anything at the moment but that she will spend it with her ' loved ones.'
