UTV and David Dhawan have teamed up for a new project titled Hook Ya Crook. The star cast of the film is a bit unusual: Siddharth and Amrita Rao.

Siddharth won tremendous acclaim for his performance in Rang De Basanti [incidently, also produced by UTV], and the actor will now appear in his second Hindi film. However, this role is vastly different from the one essayed by him in RDB.

Additionally, the makers are thinking of casting a senior actor for a pivotal role - apparently it could be Sanjay Dutt or Nana Patekar.

Principal shooting of the film is expected to commence in April 2007.
