Adlabs eyes John Abraham for 3-film deal MUMBAI: Following the Rs 350 million offer made to Hrithik Roshan to star in its films, Adlabs has now set its sites on John Abraham.
According to sources, Adlabs has offered a Rs 150 million package to the actor for a three films deal. The reports about Baabul, Kabul Express and Salaam-E-Ishq featuring the actor are good. Slowly and steadily John is climbing the ladder of success.
Abraham's business manager Bhaskar Shetty says defensively, "There are many fabulous offers for John. I cannot disclose the figures. Presently, he has assignments with many other Corporate houses too. He has Soham Shah's project, UTV's Goal, Rockstar, Happy Birthday, Kamagata Maru and Is Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, amongst others. He cannot bind himself to one company. He will not take the bait but certainly, he will do a film. It is not the money but the script and the role that is of vital importance."
Adlabs Films CEO production division Praveen Nischol refuses to comment, except to say, "I do not know much about the dealings. At the moment, I cannot say anything about it."
Meanwhile, Hrithik Roshan has yet to accepted the Adlabs offer. Negotiations between the actor and Adlabs are still on going.
