STAR Plus is further escalating the fight for viewers this April with non-stop compelling shows on the line up lure viewers.

Alongside the usual film premieres, STAR Plus will also be marking the success of its annual programme with the STAR Parivaar Awards. The ceremony will be aired on STAR Plus UK Sunday 9th April at 21:00.

Corresponding with the Easter/Vaisakhi celebrations, the channel also has repeats of its Shah Rukh Khan special interviews lined up. Originally aired last December, the “Inner and Outer World of Shah Rukh Khan” will be on Sunday 9th April at midday.

Shah Rukh Khan mania will continue on STAR Plus with Swades which will be its first showing on the channel, on Saturday 15th April. Paheli will premiere on Saturday 29th April at 21:00. Along with these premieres, popular films Main Hoon Naa, Black and Sarkar will also be repeated.

In April. the new series of chat show Rendezvous with Simi Garewal will also air. Celebrities appearing in April include: 2nd April - Priyanka Chopra, 9th April - Sanjay Khan, Zarine Khan and Zayed Khan, 16th April - Zayed Khan with his sisters and wife on, 23rd April - John Abraham, 30th April - Sanjay Dutt.

Also scheduled are repeats of 12th Annual STAR Screen Awards and IIFA Awards 2005.
