Following “Aashiq Banaya Aapne”, director Aditya Datt has begun work on his next film “Dil Diya Hai”. It will feature the major team from his first film, including actor Emraan Hashmi, music director Himesh Reshammiya and producer Balabhai Patel.

The additional members of the cast include Ashmit Patel and Mithun Chakraborty, as well as introducing a new girl from London, Geeta Basra.

"I wanted a new face for Dil Diya Hai. I auditioned Geeta and liked her. Her face is completely fresh!" Aditya says concerning Geeta.

Following their huge success of Murder, Emraan Hashmi and Ashmit Patel once again come together. The presence of two actors and one actress might suggest that this is a love triangle, while Aditya didn't deny this, he did say that it's not a 'typical triangle".

If his debut film is any indication, then one should expect more bold scenes in this film. "I don't know the description of bold. But yes, you will see the regular stuff!" said the director, not wanting to reveal too much as it is too soon yet.

The film went on floors 20 March and Aditya hopes to wrap shooting by May.
