Italian filmmaker Jan Michellini, who was assistant director on 'The Passion Of Christ' with Mel Gibson, has made a documentary called 'Bollywood Boulevard' which has such Indian stars as Amitabh Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai.

The reportedly the hour-long film is about Bollywood as seen through the eyes of a 12-year-old boy, played by Atith Naik, who dreams about the films. His dreams come true when the stars themselves start popping out to chat with him.

Some of Hindi cinema’s most well-known names - Amitabh Bachchan, Preity Zinta, Hrithik Roshan, Aishwarya Rai and Karan Johar - will be seen in the film that examines the dreams of the young generation and how cinema offers it hope.

Michellini shot the film while he was on holiday in Mumbai, and will be shown on Italian television.

Michellini is also associated with a jazz group back home in addition to working as an assistant director. However his passion is filmmaking, he is ready with another project on the Israel-Palestine conflict.
