Mumbai: Almost a month after a motorcycle accident left him hospitalized, Indian Cinema actor John Abraham says he is ready to get back on his bike and ready to work.

Abraham injured his left knee and ankle on April 9 when John on his motorcycle and two men riding a bicycle crashed into each other.

Motorcycle enthusiast John said in an interview that he would not be deterred from bike riding.

"If a person trips while walking, can he stop walking? Once a rider always a rider," said Abraham.

He is now looking forward to buy a new bike. "But what I am really looking forward to is my new baby." said the actor.

Like most true enthusiasts, his passion for bikes remains wholly undeterred despite the accident.

On the other hand, his family, producers and directors were initially concerned about his two-day hospitalization, but added, "They are resigned to the fact that I was born to ride."

Abraham will be seen in Madhur Bhandarker's Corporate, which is slated to release soon.

Like a true bike enthusiast, John is as ready to get back on a bike as he is to get back to the film action, now the short stint with some real life action is behind him.
