Don't Attempt This At Home

Don't Attempt This At HomeHrithik Roshan is asking his fans to not attempt the dangerous stunts they see in his recently released film, Krrish, in which Hrithik plays a superhero that can jump great distances in a single bound.

As reported earlier, on the day of the film release, a fan in Madhya Pradesh in the cinema hall attempted to imitate the action and stunts and jumped from the theatre's balcony. Only to end up in hospital with multiple fractures.

Aware that star-struck fans have a tendency to imitate their idols, Hrithik wrote a letter to his fans, which was published in Monday's edition of the Mumbai Mirror. In the letter Hrithik says that the stunts in the film are meant to be enjoyed, and not imitated.

"The action scenes are meant to be enjoyed, not imitated. Please, do not indulge in these stunts. Those action scenes are dangerous. I undertook them under close and minute supervision...it required immense training, focus and hard work for them to be executed in the correct way," Hrithik’s message stated.

The point should be made that Hrithik had to prepare for months for the films stunts under Hong Kong based action choreographer Tony Ching Siu-tung. While shooting these stunts, Hrithik was injured many times and at one point, nearly died.
