Recently Shah Rukh Khan made some statements that have been seen as overtly arrogant when he used one of the titles bestowed upon him by fans, media and the industry, leading many in the media to try to bring him down a peg or two by claiming Khan bestowed the titles on himself. Following this, the rumours have been rife claiming the Chopra's and Bachchan's are turning against him.

However, as was pointed out previously, the Chopra's and Bachchan's see Shah Rukh as family.

According to Abhishek, Shah Rukh is a "humble and unassuming person". Abhishek is of the opinion that a person needs to spend some time with Khan in order to know the true man as well as the superstar.

During the Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna shoot, Karan Johar's latest film, Abhishek not only got to work with the superstar that is SRK but also was able to get to know the man himself.

"I was bowled over by him as an actor and a human being...only after you work with Shah Rukh do you truly understand why he enjoys the position he does. He's a humble and unassuming person," said Abhishek.

Abhishek also was in awe with King Khan over the fact that during the shoot, Shah Rukh would concentrate not only on his own performance but also would endeavor make sure the other actors would give their best, helping in anyway needed.

Abhishek recalled one scene in which he was stuck, SRK came to his rescue and offered advice on the scene and how to perform it.

"The amount I've learnt from him about conducting oneself as a person and as an actor, is insurmountable," Abhishek is quoted. Coming from Big B's son, that's saying a lot.

Abhishek also adds that the rumours of rift between SRK and the Bachchan's have not affected the relationship between them.
