Karan Johar and Nikhil Advani have managed to put their differences behind them at last. As a result, Karan will be in a special appearance in Nikhil’s upcoming film.

Following the release of Kal Ho Na Ho, directed by Nikhil and produced by Karan, the two had strong a difference of opinion and parted company. They were not on speaking terms for more than a year.

Fast forward to now, for his film Salaam-E-Ishq, Nikhil wrote a role with Karan in mind. It is a special appearance featuring a film director for Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra's part of the film. Apparently, Karan was rather amused when Nikhil approached him with it and agreed to take part.

Karan Johar confirmed he is to be in Nikhil's film, adding Nikhil had been a part of Dharma productions for the past eight years and that despite the falling out, Karan was always there for him.

Unfortunately, Karan did not reveal any details regarding his role in the Nikhil's film, saying it's too early to comment.

Currently, Karan is busy with the finishing touches to Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, however, oce he has completed this, he will begin the shoot for Salaam-E-Ishq.
