Rakhi Sawant is without doubt controversy's latest darling. Only a few weeks following run-ins with the Maharashtra police, the item girl finds herself once again in a spot of bother with the police - this time in Hyderabad.

Apparently, the incident took place during a show on Sunday night that was arranged by a real estate firm as part of its annual celebrations. Along with a few local filmstars, it was decided to make it an extra special event for their employees by inviting Rakhi to perform.

The organisers had received permission for the show from the local police well in advance, however when the police came to know that Rakhi would be present, they saw red and demanded that her performance be scrapped. The organisers reluctantly had to agree, which left Rakhi to return to Mumbai the same night, fuming.

Oddly, now Rakhi is flatly denying she had anything to do with the Hyderabad show. "Everyone likes to spread rumours about me. I was not supposed to go to Hyderabad in any case." On further prodding she says, "I was told that it was a Corporate event. Cops say any rubbish. And why should they need special permission to have me on the show?"
