Shah Rukh Khan has taken on many roles over the years. Now he will be a board member of Jet Airways.

No, it's not a new plot line; it's real life.

Of late, Jet Airways has been in news for the wrong reasons lately. The airline suffered major losses due to the merger deal with Air Sahara failing. Moreover, one of its employees is said to be a suspect in the recent terrorist plot foiled by British Police.

Chairman Naresh Goyal seems to have plans to try to change the airlines image and add some glamour to his airline.

King Khan will now help Jet Airways with his personal presence on the board, as well as some business ideas.

This is not the first time that Jet has opted for a celeb to be a board member. Previously, Yash Chopra and Javed Akhtar have also been on Jet's board. So, King Khan is in good company.

Incidently, Namrata Goyal, the daughter of Jet Chairman Naresh Goyal, was an assistant director for Don - The Chase Begins Again, which is Shah Rukh's next release and will hit the theatres this Diwali.
