Manoj Bajpai was offered the role of Sambha in Ram Gopal Varma's Sholay, however the actor has turned down the offer.

It is well known that Manoj Bajpai and Ram Gopal Verma have not been on speaking terms. Nonetheless, RGV called him to discuss the role of Sambha in his Sholay.

They ended up disagreeing on various issues and as a result of the discussion, decided not to work with each other.

RGV and Bajpai have worked on a few films together, however they have not been able to resolve their differences.

The latest is that actor Sunil Shetty is being considered for the role instead.
