This diwali promises to be a huge one for Bollywood with two of the biggest films of the year gearing up for release. The Salman Khan-Akshay Kumar starrer Jaan-E-Mann will clash with the Shahrukh Khan starrer, Don. The distibutors of both films have already decided to block the best theatres for that week with Jaan-E-Mann being released on as many as 250 + screens in the Mumbai circuit (which includes Mumbai city suburbs, Thane, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka). Bear in mind that the two biggest films of the year so far, Krrish and KANK, were released in 200 + screens.

The J.P. Dutta remake of the classic Umrao Jaan will also be opening that weekend, however it may have a tough time finding good theatres as Don and Jaan-E-Mann are already grabbing the best ones. Umrao Jaan stars Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan, however the promotion for the film thus far has been low-key.
