It is not widely known that Bipasha was offered to play the role that Kangana Ranaut is playing in Woh Lamhe. However, she refused the role because Emraan was cast opposite her.

Not because Bipasha has a problem with Emraan or the actor's serial kisser image, rather she thought she would look taller and bigger opposite Hashmi.

Interestingly Bipasha played Emraan's sister in his debut film, Footpath.

However, Emraan also opited out of Woh Lamhe because he felt he did not have a very strong role in the film. Mohit Suri, who is Emraan's cousin, wanted him in all his films, but unfortunately for him it won't happen in this one.

Woh Lamhe now stars Kangana Ranaut and Shiney Ahuja rather than Bipasha Basu and Emraan Hashmi, and is slated for release on 29th September, 2006.
