Mumbai: Nephew of actor-turned-MP Govinda was arrested, along with two friends, for alleged molestion of the wife of a personnel assistant of a Maharashtra Minister, police said.

Wife of Dayanand Chincholikar, PA to Food and Civil Supplies Minister Sunil Tatkare, Seema Chincholikar said in her complaint that on the evening of September 20 Janvendra and his friends had approached her and her husband near a fast food stall at Juhu beach and allegedly tried to molest her.

When she resisted, the accused also assaulted her husband, Seema repoerted in the complaint.

Janvendra, the son of film producer Kirti Ahuja-Govinda's brother, and his accomplices will be produced before a suburban court.
