Film Re-enactment Taken Too Far - Young Boy AbductedALIGARH: It was a juvenile kidnap story inspired by two Hindi cinema films. However, Hrithik Roshan's Krissh triumphed over Ajay Devgan's Apharan landing Himanshu (15) and Jagatpal (14) in jail.

These two class VIII students, drew their inspiration from recent hit Apharan when they kidnapped Ayush (9) of the same locality and demanded a ransom of Rs five lakh from his father.

Ayush, a class IV student and an admirer of Hrithik's super effort in Krissh, not only released him self by untying his hands, but also managed to inform other residents. The residents then called the police, which led to the arrest of his juvenile abductors.

The thriller was enacted in Quarsi police station area of the district early this week, the young abductors, Himanshu and Jagatpal, later said they planned the kidnapping after watching Apharan.

District police Chief Akhil Kumar told UNI that the boys had been arrested and would be produced before a Juvenile Court. He also admitted the crime was committed under the influence of a film.
