Ajay Bijli of PVR line of cinema halls has decided branch out into film production. Reportedly, PVR pictures have signed Aamir Khan for their first two projects, expected to release in 2007 and 2008.

Bijli has however refused to comment on reports that Aamir will also be involved in co-production with PVR. The actor, who charges about 7-8 crores for a film, had signed a deal with them a few days ago.

It seems the year has been great so far for Aamir, he has already had two hits, Rang De Basanti and the Kajol comeback film Fanaa. Additionally, he will begin work on Mani Ratnam’s Lajjo as well as soon starring in the remake of a Tamil film.

On top of all this, he is also producing his second film, after Lagaan, which will star his nephew.
