UTV's Rang De Basanti, India's official Oscar entry, has been nominated at this year's B.A.F.T.A. Awards in the 'Film Not In English Language' category.

On 12th January, the British Academy of Film & Television Arts, known to some as the British Oscars, announced their nominations. Along with RDB, the other films nominated in the same category are Apocalypto, Black Book, Pan's Labyrinth and Volver.

The awards will be held on 11th February at the Royal Opera House in London.
