The Water filmmaker is very excited about working with the two actors for her comic flick on the satire 'Stella'.

Ever since Deepa Mehta, currently wrapped up in 'Oscar' doings for Water, saw Vidya Balan in Parineeta, she has been keen to work with the actor. "I think she's fabulous and there's a mischievous side to her personality waiting to be tapped," says Deepa.

She has already spoken to Vidya about a script she has for ready her. "It's a satire named 'Stella' about a wacky 'ayah' and it's perfect for Vidya."

She also met Madhavan and has chosen the Tamil superstar to play the male lead.

"I met Maddy and simply adored him. He’s a wonderful human being and a terrific actor. The fact that they look so compatible in 'Guru' could have something to do with my decision to cast them together. But I had them in mind even when I wrote the script," she says.

In addition, she is working on two other projects; a romantic drama featuring a big-time Hollywood actress in the lead, and a Indo-Canadian themed film for which she wishes to cast Amitabh Bachchan and John Abraham.
