Yash Raj's latest, Ta Ra Rum Pum, starring Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji, has remained steady with the critics. The film has 25 critics reviews for it now and is at a 57%, which is Above Average. The film hasn't faired as well as Siddharth Anand's previous venture, Salaam Namaste, which had a 61% with 18 critics reviews (for all critics reviews for Salaam Namaste, click here).

At the box office, Ta Ra Rum Pum has opened to a disappointing start. According to BoxOfficeIndia, the film had an average opening which was well below the expectations of the trade. Multiplexes opened to around 60% while single screens ranged from 15-30%. At this point it seems like the film may do well at multiplexes, but will struggle at single screens.

The theatrical trailer for Jhoom Barabar Jhoom was shown during Ta Ra Rum Pum. The dialogue in the trailer only centered around Abhishek Bachchan and Preity Zinta, although Bobby Deol and Lara Dutta were also shown in the trailer. To view the trailer, click here.
