Knowing the story line of Sanjay Gupta's new release, Shootout At Lokhandwala, it of course has violence, and in abundance.

A few days ago, in an effort to gauge the audiences reaction to the amount of violence in the film and to gain feedback, Gupta, known for his violent, dark films [Kaante, Musafir, Zinda], hosted an exclusive all ladies showing of Shootout At Lokhandwala.

Much to his surpeise, it was well received, violence and all, "The reactions caught me by complete surprise. They simply loved the film. Not once did they grumble that it was unbearable. That makes me all the more confident of Shootout At Lokhandwala. I'm sure, it'll appeal to the masses as well as families," says Gupta.
