It's widely known that Aamir Khan will give his all into the skin of his character. This time he is giving his hair for the role.

He is going bald for the Hindi remake of the Tamil hit, Ghajini. He chose to actually clean-shave his head, rather than wear a skullcap or anything. The script required a bald look in the second half of the film.

Many actors have had 'hair razing' experiences a role. Salman Khan for Tere Naam, Aditya Panscholi for Musafir. Shabana Azmi and Nandita Das had also shaved their heads for Water, however the shoot was stalled, when it resumed Lisa Ray, who took over the lead, and the others who played the widows lost their locks.
