With major films with Ram Gopal Varma and Karan Johar in the pipeline comes news that Aishwarya Bachchan may star in the hit TV show Heroes, which airs in the U.S.

Heroes-TV.com has reported that the Bachchan bahu will appear in 8 episodes. According to the article, Ash will play the role of Dr. Mohinder Suresh's elder sister and will have also have a super-power. Shooting will begin in Los Angeles later this month, and is expected to be seen on-screen as early as October of this year.

Interestingly, the show often compared to Heroes is another hit U.S. TV show Lost, which stars Naveen Andrews, who co-starred with Ash in the recently released Provoked (54%).
