Karan Johar has been announced as the worldwide brand ambassador for luxury watch brand 'Timond'.

The association with the filmmaker will commence with a whole host of advertising appearances, events, retail promotions and PR management.

Karan Johar will step into his new role as Timond brand ambassador from July 2007. He will be seen sporting the luxury watch at parties, events, talk shows besides endorsing the brand in his forthcoming films. The first of the succession of events will take place in August with the launch of Timond's limited edition tourbillon series.

This will be coupled with massive national advertising and brand promotion activities. Conscious efforts will be made to use Karan Johar's brand image for visual merchandising at various outlets nationally where Timond is retailed.
