Shah Rukh Khan and Ajay Devgan are both very shy men but it seems the man who is known as the 'serial kisser', Emraan Hashmi, takes the crown.

Following a screening of Awarapan at Adlabs on Tuesday, everyone was looking for Emraan to compliment him, however he was nowhere to be found.

Believe it or not the actor had locked himself in the loo in a bid to avoid receiving bouquets.

Hashmi's wife, Parveen, let Emraan's secret out, the actor is embarrassing about getting compliments. He was refusing to come out until everyone had left.

Apparently, if Emraan feels people will praise him, he does this after all his trials.

At the trial of Awarapan, Emraan, who also suffers stage fright, was given a standing ovation.

The incident was confirmed by Mahesh Bhatt, who said Emraan had a problem dealing with attention. Emraan instead of grabbing attention as one might expect an actor t do, he withdraws from it.

In fact, most actors are basically very shy.

Meanwhile, Emraan confirms the incident saying, "I do feel uncomfortable with all the attention and praise, but it's not like I planned to hide inside the loo all along!"
