The trailer for Shahrukh Khan's much anticipated film Om Shanti Om has been released. The near 2 minute long trailer briefly talks about the premise of the film and shows many clips for the film. In the film, Shahrukh Khan plays a junior artist named Om who grows up in the seventies, meets his soulmate (Deepika Padukone) and then suffers an untimely demise. He is immediately reincarnated and the story flash-forwards to the present day where he is haunted by memories of his past life. He then attemps to not only solve the mystery of his death, but also reunite with the love of his past life.
This is the second collaboration of director Farah Khan and Shahrukh Khan. Farah Khan made her debut directorial debut with Shahrukh in 2004's hit Main Hoon Na. This is also the second time Shahrukh has starred in a film about reincarnation. Shahrukh starred in Rakesh Roshan's Karan Arjun in 2005, where he and Salman Khan played two brothers who are killed and later reincarnated to avenge their deaths.
The trailer for Om Shanti Om is expected to be screened before Heyy Babyy, which opens this Friday. You can view the trailer by clicking here.
