'Om Shanti Om' and 'LCMD' soundtracks faring wellThis past week saw the release of two major soundtracks, with the soundtracks for Om Shanti Om and Laaga Chunari Mein Daag released to good reviews. Both are big films, and their soundtracks were eagerly awaited.

The first to release was Yash Raj's next after Chak De India (71%), Laaga Chunari Mein Daag. We already have 5 reviews in for the soundtrack, and all five are positive. The soundtrack for the film is at a 63%, which is 'Good'. For all music reviews for Laaga Chunari Mein Daag, or to listed to the soundtrack, click here. For news on the film, click here.

The other major soundtrack was Farah Khan's next extravaganza, Om Shanti Om, starring Shah Rukh Khan. Since the soundtrack just released, we only have two reviews for the soundtrack, however they are both extremely positive, putting the soundtrack at an 80% which is 'Excellent'. That number may go up or down over the next several days, however it if remained at this level, it would be the highest rated sountrack of the year ahead of Life In a Metro (75%) and Jhoom Baraber Jhoom (67%).
