Aamir Khan is back in Mumbai after celebrating New Year eve along with his marriage reception in Bangalore. He attended a special screening of his latest film Rang De Basanti. The film is Rakesh Mehra's second directorial effort after Aks and releases this month.

This year will feature Aishwarya Rai in several Hollywood films, including Mistress of Spices in April, Provoked also starring Nandita Das, and The Last Legion, which also features Colin Firth and Ben Kingsley. Rai has also acquired the distribution rights for The Last Legion and is looking at possibly distributing the film.
