Mumbai: For the Dhoom 2 music release, Yash Raj Films released the conventional audio CD, and for the first time, an MP3 of the film music as well.

However, that's not all. Now, we have another first from Yash Raj. The music of Dhoom 2 was has now been released in DVD-Audio format.

The album makes full use of the DVD-Audio format in other ways, as well.

The Dhoom 2 music can be a big feature at your next party as the lyrics can be viewed on-screen while the music plays, thus opening the way for a Karaoke sing-along. Also, the theatrical trailer of the film is on the DVD, as well as a credits page that can be viewed. Last, but by no means least, four additional tracks, Chand Sifarish (Fanaa), Kajra Re (Bunty aur Babli), Salaam Namaste (Salaam Namaste) and Halla Re (Neal 'n' Nikki) are also on the DVD, with the lyrics also available on screen.

To top things off, there is a gallery of pictures from the films.

All the tracks have been specially mastered in London in 5.1 Surround Sound and if one is so inclined, they can actually choose from the audio menu the format they wish to hear the songs in.

Now, for all those DVD viewers who watch the songs over again once the film has ended, or those who listen to the tracks and wish they could see the video too, this is perfect.
