Zakir Hussein considers himself to be a sensitive villain. As such, he believes that he does not get beaten up as, ideally, a villain should.

However, during the shoot of upcoming film,Darling, he did get slapped by co-star Esha Deol!

So, there he was shooting a hospital scene in which he was relating the spite of his broken leg to Fardeen Khan. There's Esha Deol was dodging in and out of the frame - she is playing the ghost in the film you know. Suddenly, director Ram Gopal Varma shouted "Slap him!" Esha instantly slapped Zakir. He never expected this, it was not a part of the script and it left everybody speechless.

Following the sceen, a very apologetic Esha requested that Hussein slap her back, perhaps fearing that the poor actor will report this incident to her brother Sunny Deol – with whom he is working in Fool N Final, or maybe papa dearest Dharmendra – with whom Zakir is working in Johnny Gaddar.

It is certain the slap was effective and achieved Varmas desired results.
