Director Nikhil Advani and his wife Suporna Advani are in the process of adopt a 5-month old baby girl, and are planning to bring her home in late January.

Nikhil and Suporna have chosen Keya for the baby's name. Nikhil said that they have put in the adoption papers,now they are just waiting for the nod of agreement from the authorities.

Following the baby girl's arrival in January, Nikhil plans to take a long break from filmmaking to spend some quality time with his newly restructured family. He said it is important for him to learn how to look after his child.

When asked what he was looking forward to more - the film release or the baby, he replied that Keya is much more important to him than Salaam-E-Ishq at this point in time.

His multi-starrer will be arriving in January as well, the 25th of this coming year, 2007.

So, it looks like January is going to be a month of double blessings for Nikhil.
