There has been much speculation as to whether Kajol is making a surprise special appearance in Karan Johar's forthcoming film Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna.

The media and rumourmongors have been quite busy making speculations and creating scenarios in which Kajol could make such an appearance in Johar's film, and Shah Rukh / Kajol fans have been all to ready to believe the rumours.

Part of the reason the rumours are believable is because Kajol, who happens to be good friends with Karan, did in fact make a fleeting appearance with cousin Rani Mukherjee in Karan's Kal Ho Na Ho, directed by Nikhil Advani.

"I'd love to cast her in all my films," Karan says, "But the fact is that she isn't making an appearance in Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna. Frankly, there's no situation in the film where I could accommodate Kajol."
