In an open letter to the Mumbai Mirror, Bobby Deol thanks a fan who returned his lost baggage to him and promises to write to him personally.--

Hi there,

I am usually particular about my belongings and always keep them safely. I have never lost my baggage, although it is a common occurrence especially for those who travel a lot. However, the other day, when I was returning from Bangkok where I had been shooting for my film Apne, you took my bag home from baggage claim by mistake.

I was very upset at this. I was feeling extremely helpless as the bag contained, apart from some personal belongings, a lot of continuity clothes and accessories which were required for the next shooting schedule of the film.

But as luck would have it, you were kind enough to return my bag to me through the airport authorities.This act on your part has really restored my faith in humanity. I am very grateful and delighted at this gesture of yours. Since I don't know who you are, I would like to say a big 'thank you' to you through Mumbai Mirror.
