Through his select band of journalists, he announces project after project, often going as far as to also announce the cast line-up. God only knows if we will ever see any of these projects hit the silver screen, let alone the floors.

This has been a standard with RGV. With this kind of track record, perhaps Varma should give up trying to being a producer and concentrate on directing.

And for Pete's sake, stop talking up the projects to the press until it has been confirmed and actors signed. (Of course, this might not help either, as actors keep walking out of his projects for one reason or another.)
