Model-turned-actress Deepika Padukone has garnered quite a bit of publicity and attention already, before her film career has really begun. Currently,she is in the news for her film debut opposite none other than King Khan himself in the upcoming Farah Khan film Om Shanti Om.

Reports have it that she has also recently signed on for Dehli 6 with Abhishek Bachchan after Farah's film. When asked about is she said she was not sure how the media found out, but she was not at liberty to discuss it.

In addition to her Hindi films, the actress stars in Aishwariya, her debut film down South in which she plays a Corporate glam girl, opposite the famous Kannada superstar Upendra.

"I was telling Upendra, he is the Shah Rukh of South. I have got both the Khans, the one here and the real Shah Rukh," she recently said in an interview to CNN-IBN.
