Mumbai: Nephew of actor-turned-MP Govinda, Janvendra,22, son of Govinda's brother and film producer Kirtikumar Ahuja was today remanded to judicial custody till October 11 following his arrest by Juhu Police along with three of his friends for allegedly attempting to molest the wife of the personal assistant to a Maharashtra Minister.

In a complaint with Juhu Police, Seema Chincholikar, wife of Dayanand Chincholikar, PA to Food and Civil Supplies Minister Sunil Tatkare said, Janvendra and his friends had approached her and her husband near a fast-food stall at Juhu beach on September 20 night and allegedly tried to molest her.

When she resisted, the accused and his friends also assaulted her husband, Seema said.
