Mumbai: Actor Sunil Shetty,star of recent smash hit Phir Hera Pheri, had a phenomenal escape after his vehicle skidded and crashed into the side railing on the Mumbai-Pune expressway, sources said today.

"Sunil was going out of Mumbai yesterday when his vehicle skidded on a patch of oil and slammed into the protective railing on the highway. However, he was not hurt."

Shetty's driver did not sustain any major injury either.
