Well, in this season of odd and false rumours, another very imaginative rumour making the rounds is that Sanjay Dutt has married close friend Maanayata, also known as Dilnawaz Sheikh.

While these stories have made it into numerous publications, the culprit of these falsehoods is Mid-Day, who have published numerous stories regarding the non-existent marriage between the two.

In an effort to put an end to all this nonsense, Sanjay Dutt has gone on camera and blatantly stated that all these stories are simply lies, nothing more. He further states that if ever he is to marry, he will talk about it openly.

We all know this is an all-too-common occurrence for the film industry. Time after time this writer has personally told of one false rumour after another.

This kind of irresponsible behaviour on the part of one section of the media, causes the media as a whole to lose credibility. Moreover, it causes pain and problems for the innocent people involved and their friends and family.

While the rumours run rife, remember, to seek the truth here, and on this subject that truth is: Sanjay Dutt is not married, nor is he getting married.
