Mumbai, Oct 16 (IANS) Madhur Bhandarkar is flattered and slightly worried by the constant speculation on who will be who in his latest venture "Fashion". The latest report that the film revolves around the rivalry between two male fashion designers over a model has the director flummoxed. "First of all my protagonists are not male. Priyanka Chopra is the person from whose perspective the whole film unfolds. Her character is followed by Kangana Ranaut who also has a very powerful role. The rest of the characters are yet to be cast," Bhandarkar told IANS."I agree 'Fashion' will take a lot from real celebrities in the fashion world. But not so much that people can point fingers at our film. It won't be a who's who of the fashion world," he added.
Bhandarkar admits one of the sub-plots might go into the rivalry between two male fashion designers.
"But at the moment I'm not looking at the who's who of the celebrity world for my screenplay. It may be fashionable to use real celebrities. But 'Fashion' isn't going to be fashionably provocative. I want it to be as real and ripping as Page 3 and Corporate."

No need to politicise Sarkar Raj: Varma
Ram Gopal Varma reacts sharply to a report that Ravi Kale plays a character based on Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray's nephew Raj Thackeray in Sarkar Raj and says he doesn't want to politicise the film.
"I see no reason to unnecessarily politicise Sarkar Raj with speculation. There's no character even remotely resembling the gentleman you've mentioned. And Ravi Kale, who is in both the Sarkar films, doesn't play a character similar to any politician, living or dead," said Varma.
Though it is a political film, Varma stresses he doesn't have any character based on real-life politicians in it.
"As it is, I've personally admitted that Sarkar Raj is my most political film to date. If on top of that I'm constantly accused of planting this or that politician in the plot, there's bound to be an unnecessary stress."
