Farah Khan's Om Shanti Om has already set a record with the most stars in one song, now it has done it again with a registered pre-advanced booking of 18,000 tickets in a chain of theatres in national capital Delhi a couple days before the advance booking was to begin. "Pre-advance booking is not a general phenomenon. But Corporate bookings for 18,000 tickets have been done in Satyam cinemas which are having three properties in Delhi," Rajneesh Budhraja, Regional Head North India, Eros Multimedia, disclosed to a section of the media.
So does the pre-advance numbers give a clue to what one can expect from the advanced booking? "The advance booking will start in two days. But from the pre-advance booking one can predict how the trend is going to be like," Rajneesh said.
Looks like the Diwali fireworks have started for Om Shanti Om a week in advance. But anyone who is surprised that it is causing such a stir hasn't taken the films star and director/choreographer into consideration - not to mention the star-studded blockbuster song and dance extravaganza that we will be treated to.
Om Shanti Om releases 9th November.
