Shweta Nanda, daughter of Amitabh And Jaya Bachchan, is ready to make her debut in front of the camera. However, we wont see her larger than life up on the silver screen anytime soon, but rather in our homes on television hosting a television show.

She will be hosting a new weekly show for NDTV Profit called "NextGEN". The show will be a 12-part series featuring 12 people below the age of 40 from various fields including art, literature, sports, films, fashion and business. It will focus on what drives them in their professions and their goals.

Calling this a great opportunity, Shweta feels that the show deals with a cross-section of people, their feelings and their great struggles. She adds that the youth of today are more comfortable with themselves and they bring out the same in you.

Shweta says that it would be unfair to compare her with her father, Amitabh Bachchan's successful career as a host. His blessings are enough for her she adds.
