'Metro' impresses critics, 'GBBB' falls flatAnurag Basu's latest offering, Life in a Metro, has started off well with the critics. With 26 critics reviews for the film, the film is at a 61% which is 'Good'. Of the 26 reviews it has so far, 18 have been good, 6 have been average and only 2 have been negative. That is enough to land Life in a Metro as the 8th best reviewed film of the year so far, ahead of some biggies like Ta Ra Rum Pum (56%) and Namaste London (56%). It is almost up to Basu's last film, Gangster, which had a 63% (out of 18 reviews). On the other end of the spectrum was Ashwini Chaudhary's Good Boy Bad Boy, which is at a 21% which is 'Very Bad' and makes it the second worst reviewed film of 2007 so far, narrowly beating Kudiyon Ka Hai Zamana (20%). Ta Ra Rum Pum has emerged a disappointment both critically and financially. The film has settled at a 56%, which is barely above average. Out of 32 critics reviews, 19 were good, 5 were average and 8 were negative. For all critics reviews for Ta Ra Rum Pum, click here.

The only other noteworthy recent release, Yatra, also got slammed by the critics. It is at a 33%, which is very bad. Out of 16 critics reviews, only one was positive, while the remaining 15 were negative.
