Amitabh Bachchan is ready to return to the sets following a 2-month break for his son Abhishek's wedding to Aishwarya Rai(now Aishwarya Bachchan). He will give a guest appearance in the Bhojpuri film, Gangotri, which is the sequel to the hugely popular Ganga which he was in three months after his discharge from hospital in December 2005.

Producer Deepak Sawant, who has been Bachchan's make-up man for over three decades, is elated. Sawant hopes that the sequel does as well as the first film did.

The sequel will star Manoj Tiwari and Nagma, the lead pair of Ganga, as well as Ravi Kissen and Bhumika Chawla. Apparently talks are on with Hema Malini, who played Bachchan's wife in Ganga, to appear in the sequel as well.
