Amitabh Bachchan's Advice To Anil Kapoor
By Krishna Jewel | May 09, 2007
Amitabh Bachchan's Advice To Anil KapoorSuperstar legend Amitabh Bachchan gave fellow actor Anil Kapoor what could be a very valuable piece of advice for the latter at the International Indian Film Academy's press conference at Gurgaon near Delhi.

In his address to the gathered press mentioned, "The first time when IIFA was held, I didn't go for the ceremony. I got to know that I had won two awards while watching the programme on TV. That's when I decided I am not going to miss anymore."

The actor, who won the Best Comedian and Best Supporting Actor at IIFA 2000, went on to say, "I have never won another award after I associated myself with the awards ceremony. This proves that IIFA is free from bias."

Bachchan, who is the brand ambassador for IIFA, in a bid to apparently help said, "I would like to clarify that I have won a couple of awards at IIFA. But since Kapoor said that he has not won any IIFA award since 2000, I would advise him to change the colour of his French beard if he wants to win," quipped the actor who sports a white French beard in contrast to his coloured hair to Kapoor and had the audience rolling.

Kapoor laughed right along with the crowd as the actor, who is known to frequently change his looks, is currently sporting a French beard himself.
