Mumbai, Feb 9 (IANS) Kabir Khan, who didn't have any female lead in his directorial debut Kabul Express, has singed Katrina Kaif for his next film. In the yet untitled film Katrina is paired with John Abraham who played a key role in Kabul Express. It will go the floors in July this year and is expected to hit the theatres in 2009.

"This is a very relevant and contemporary story and close to my heart. I am excited to start my second film under the Yash Raj banner," Khan said.

The rest of the cast members are being finalised.

The Big B back in Shimla

After celebrating his son's birthday in Jaipur, superstar Amitabh Bachchan has returned to snow-capped Shimla to resume the shooting of Soojit Sircar's marital drama "Shoe Bite".

He began shooting for the film Thursday along with Sarika, Diya Mirza and Jimmy Shergill.

After shooting for over a week here, he had abruptly left earlier in the week when miscreants hurled bottles at his house in Mumbai.

He flew to Mumbai and later joined his son to celebrate his birthday Jan 5.

Amitabh is staying at the Oberoi Cecil in Shimla.
