For his new film
London Dreams, Vipul Shah has decided against casting a known actress opposite the two major male stars,
Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan.
The initial talk was that Vipul was to cast Katrina Kaif in the role, then the rumor mills turned its attentions towards
Kareena Kapoor.
"It's not Katrina, it's not Kareena, it's not Priyanka," Vipul says, setting the record straight, "It's a new face for London Dreams."
So why is he casting a newcomer in the role opposite these two top stars? "It's the requirement of the role. I cannot settle for any actress who has been exposed to the audiences before. The role demands a fresh face and a fresh face it will be," he states.
Vipul is slated to begin filming the last week of June. Subsequently, Vipul will take a break from filming for few weeks as his ambitious project Singh Is Kinng is slated for release in August, but shooting will resume after its release.
Regarding this brief break in shooting, Shah says, "Both Salman and Ajay were co-operation personified when I told them that I would take a few days off in between."
