Akshay Kumar is currently out of India shooting on location in China and Thailand [Chandni Chowk To China has 10 days of shooting to complete], and while he is away the rumour mongers will play.

The latest rumour is that Yash Raj has 'banned' Akshay because the actor 'had the guts' to refuse a new script the Chopras offered and he isn't promoting a particular IPL team that has had a tie-up with Tashan.

As expected, Akshay is taken aback when questioned about the reported 'ban'.

"YRF bans me? Impossible. Mr. Chopra and his son are thorough gentlemen. They would never ban their actors. Besides, they love me. By next week, watch out, I'll be their new 'Tashan'," is all Akki had to say.
